Sally Bradley
Sally Bradley Sally Headshot 2has worked for two publishers, writing sales and marketing materials, sorting through the slush pile, and proofreading and editing fiction. She has a BA in English and a deep love for fiction, particularly Christian fiction.

A judge in fiction-writing contests, Sally is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers, The Christian PEN, and the Christian Editor Network. Among past clients are five ACFW Genesis finalists, one Genesis winner, and a handful of traditionally published novelists. She’s a three-time Genesis finalist herself, and her fiction has won two other writing contests. She can be reached at sallybradley.com.

“Thank you so much for such a thorough and thoughtful edit of my work.  I’ve used other editing services before and yours has been one of the most reasonably priced and complete readings of my work.” –  Brian Marchetti.

“Sally delivers her critique with a fantastic blend of professionalism, humor and compassion. Not only did she offer thorough, insightful feedback on my manuscript but she suggests workable solutions in a manner that is easy to digest. Her attention to detail is amazing. I’m confident that after retaining her services, my understanding of the craft of writing has improved tremendously. I will definitely be a repeat customer.” — Heidi Blankenship

“I had been querying my novel with literary agents for six months without a hint of interest. I found Sally’s website and decided to have my query letter and synopsis evaluated by her. After making the changes she suggested, I began to get requests from agents to see some or all of my manuscript. This culminated in two agents offering me representation. I have signed with one and am now excited about trying to get my book published. In retrospect, I’d never have gotten this far without Sally’s help. Her review of my query and synopsis was very insightful. Thanks, Sally!” — Brian Mahon

“I have brought debut authors to her and she has molded their work into bestsellers to great acclaim and financial success. When an author works with Natalie, hard, uncompromising work is ahead but each author grows under her shepherding. At the same time, I have witnessed firsthand Natalie’s capacity for compassion when an author faced unforeseen difficulties. Natalie’s professionalism and flexibility served her well as her list continued to grow and remained successful time and time again. Her warmth and Southern charm make her a pleasure to work with, which is always a bonus.”—Tamela Hancock Murray, literary agent

“I consider myself blessed to have been given the opportunity to work with Natalie Hanemann. She is loyal, dedicated, and her God given ability to analyze story is second to none . . . She communicates in a timely fashion and is a joy to work with.”—Denise Hunter, author of Surrender Bay, Sweetwater Gap, and Barefoot Summer

“[Natalie] had fresh ideas, asked hard questions, found new solutions for each project. And she never lost sight of the storyteller behind the story. What made them tick. How to inspire them. How each novel could reflect the truest vision from the author . . . I’ve moved into a ministry now, but if I ever had the impulse to start my own publishing company—Natalie would be one of the first people I’d invite onto the team . . . She loves well-written Christian Fiction . And understands how to take a novel there. She knows story. She deftly blends craft and creative in a way that exceeds expectations. And she understands an author’s heart—how to speak the language of the writer and nurture them from first draft to finish line. When Natalie is involved, the project will run smoother. The author will savor the journey. And the story will shine.”—Allen Arnold, Director of Content & Resources, Ransomed Heart Ministries and former Fiction Publisher at Thomas Nelson

“It gives me great pleasure to recommend Natalie Hanemann to anyone needing editorial assistance. Natalie has edited six of my books and, I can honestly say, you won’t find a more dedicated, conscientious or insightful editor. One of the things I most appreciate about Natalie is her care in preserving an author’s voice and vision for the book. She’s also quick to pinpoint a book’s strengths and weaknesses and her editorial comments always take an author’s work to the next level. In addition, she’s a delight to work with and her love of story shows in everything she does.”—Margaret Brownley, author of A Lady Like Sarah

“Natalie has mentored me with extreme patience and kindness, even though there was much to do to get me where I needed to be. Fifteen books later, I continue to learn from her, and I am certain that all of my novels and novellas have been better because of her dedication to each project. Her knowledge of the craft is extensive, and she has a keen insight about plot structure, character development, themes, arcs, and all the necessary components that factor into the making of a good book.  Her idea of what a great heroine and hero should be is always on the mark. I will forever be grateful for everything I have learned from her.”—Beth Wiseman, best-selling author of Plain Perfect and The House that Love Built

Guided by her godly love and patience, we have plugged plot holes, enriched characters, and tightened word counts. Natalie has always been willing to provide additional information and clarity throughout the process, whether it be by email or phone conversations. Natalie is a unique and caring individual who puts her all into making each of the novels she edits a success.”—Ruth Reid, best-selling author of The Promise of an Angel and A Miracle of Hope

Praise for Ridiculously Simple Self-Publishing

“Seems like I have always been pounding my head against the wall, getting nowhere.  I am an indie writer.  I have 17 E-Books published on Amazon.  I am still paying someone to format my files, create my book covers and to edit the book.  Those days are no longer.  I have learned, with the help of Terri Main to format my file for Kindle.  I honestly never thought I could do that.  I had to publish on someone’s else’s schedule.”–Sharon Lee Johnson.
